Three years after their debut album ‘No More Sins’, 4Bitten finally release their much anticipated second album ‘Delirium’ on 23rd April 2012. On first listen, this four piece band from Athens, Greece, have certainly delivered what was expected from them, and then some! Delirium is a radio friendly rock album of the hard variety. It has the lot. A Metal sound, raw riffs, arena choruses, soft, hard, quiet and loud... oh and don’t forget a bit of Southern rock here n there!
The talents of the four band members have managed to create a solid, blues-based hard rock album and Fofi Roussos produces some outstanding vocals throughout, from Rock-powerful to soulful and heart-felt. George M’s guitar work is solid on all eleven tracks and spectacular on four of them. (You’ll just have to listen to the album to find out which four...But check out ‘Jaded’!). Angelo and Akis provide a rock solid rhythm section that is the foundation of the 4Bitten sound.
Delirium is full of masterfully written songs that with the right publicity machine behind them, could top the charts around the world. Don’t let that put you off though, as this truly is a hard n heavy album. 4Bitten deserve to be huge on the back of this album, and you know what, I think they just might.
